INTRODUCTION

Revelation Knowledge is the true understanding of the meaning of the word of God. One cannot understand the truths in the pages of the Bible just by reading the pages of the Bible, no matter:

How intelligent a person may be
How good a person’s vocabulary may be
How articulate a person may be
How knowledgeable a person may be
How conversant a person may be about the content of the Bible
How good a person may be
One can understand the true and real meaning of a word, verse, passage, chapter or book in the Bible, only in one of the following ways:
By Divine Revelation
By Spiritual Understanding
By the Anointing of the Holy Spirit who teaches us all things
By the process of Logos (the written Word) becoming the Rhema”, the revealed word
The true purpose of this revelation knowledge is, to understand the real meaning and the purpose of the scripture, as meant and intended by God:
In the context of the Bible (what is said immediately before and what is said immediately after) in which it is written
In the context of the history and the civilization of that time
In the context of the situation of the persons life or the times in which it is written
In the context of the other same truth which has been stated in the other passages of the Bible, reaffirming the same meaning but not contradicting it or conveying a different meaning and connotation
In the context of the cultural setting of the relevant times
In the context in which it is stated as the absolute truth·
Some of terms used when it comes to preaching the word of God are referred to as:
Contextual Preaching
Exegetical Preaching
Expository Preaching
Topical Preaching etc.

In this context perhaps the word Hermeneutics should be mentioned, which means the science or the art of interpretation of the Bible. There are many books and writing on this subject

Biblically speaking, three scriptures will throw some more light on the Subject of Revelation Knowledge.
Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32)

It is given unto us to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 13:11)

The secrets of God are with them that fear him (Psalm 25:14)

Some of the other words that are used instead of ‘Revelation Knowledge’ is worth mentioning and considering in this context, and they are listed below:

Serendipity (a worldly term used in the context in which suddenly some idea or fact flashes in the mind of a person, for which no logical or rational explanation can be given)
Knowing the Mysteries of God
Knowing the Secrets of God

Having the Mind of God
Having the Unction of God
No matter what term we use, the understanding of the Word of God should result in giving us:
Peace
Excitement
Joy
Satisfaction
Assurance or Faith
Thrill
Anticipation of Victory
Comfort
Enlightenment
Practical Answers to our Questions and Problems
Acceptable Explanation
Guilty Feeling for Violation of God’s Laws or Commandment
Conviction when they have sinned or living in sin
A Prophetic Utterance of God concerning some future event as the warning of our necessary preparation
With these introductory remarks let us launch out to consider other important aspects and significance about the Revelation Knowledge. The Revelation Knowledge can be contrasted with the written word of the Bible called the ‘Logos’. In other words, one may tend to give the dictionary meaning to the words, perhaps in the context in which it is written, without taking into consideration what is said in the remainder of the Bible.
This rationale of the Interpretation will be logical and acceptable only if we are convinced of the following facts:
The Bible is Inerrant, Infallible, Irrefutable and Authentic
The Bible is one book of one author (who is God, but was written by the holy men of God under the inspiration of God)
There are no controversies, inconsistencies and inaccuracies in the Bible to refute its authenticity
The Bible is complete, and when it comes to disclosing and sharing all important truths one needs to know it without any doubt
The Word of God is spirit, truth and life
The Word is Immortal and Indestructible
The Word is inspired by the Holy Spirit
The Bible Truths have a pair in the Bible proving and confirming it
The Bible proves itself
The Bible can be proved Archaeologically, Historically, Scientifically, Chronologically, Genealogically, Anthropologically, and Geographically etc.
I. WHAT IS ‘REVELATION KNOWLEDGE’
First, a distinction should be made between ‘Rhema’ and ‘Logos’. The written word of God is generally referred to as the Logos and the revealed word is called the ‘Rhema’. There is a saying called ‘no word has any meaning except what we give’. It is the task of the reader to interpret or give meaning to every word, passage, chapter and the book of the Bible. Some guidelines have been discussed for giving a rational and correct interpretation of everything written in the Bible, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to really understand the purpose and the meaning of the words in the scripture. We can perhaps say that there should be the meeting of the minds of God and the reader. Intended meaning and the purpose of the writer should be correctly understood, interpreted and experienced or practiced by the reader.
The Bible says, seek and ye shall find; ask and it shall be given; and knock and it shall be opened unto you. In order to get the Revelation Knowledge that the reader of the Bible should be really:
Open to the Truth
Open the listen to the Voice of God
Seeking to know the Truth
Interested in knowing the Truth
Pursuing the Knowledge of the Word of God
Willing to set aside all the other conflicting preconceived Ideas,
Beliefs and Notions
Willing to accept the truth and live by it
Hungry and Thirsty for the Word of God
Sensitive to the Holy Spirit
Willing to be guided, taught and counseled by the Holy Men of God
Willing to obey the Word of God at any cost
Committed to Accept the Lord and to serve Him
Willing to pay any price or sacrifice anything, to gain the understanding and the knowledge of the Word of God
Giving pre-eminence and priority to the Word of God
Believing that the word of God contained in the Bible is the truth, the way and the life
Believing that Jesus was the word in the beginning, and he became flesh and dwelt among men
Believing that the word of God has the Creative Power
Believing that the Word of God will not return when it is sent out, without accomplishing the purpose for which it is sent forth.
Some explanations, definitions, synonyms and meanings of Revelation
Knowledge have been given already in the foregoing chapters.
Revelation Knowledge will be further explained in this chapter.
Let us deal with Revelation Knowledge in this chapter, to start with, from the standpoint of truth. Truth is always hidden, and only through some research and pursuit it can be unearthed. A truth needs some explanation in terms of what it is, how it can be applied and what value does it have?
By starting with some physical, natural or scientific truths, we can probably understand the spiritual truths much better. Let us first take the example of steam power. We know that steam is the vapor that is produced when water reaches the temperature of the boiling point of the water, which is 100 degrees centigrade or 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
This phenomenon or process has been operating ever since the sun light and water was in existence, and, of course, from the time man was created on this planet earth. But this truth has been discovered by man only within the last few centuries. Therefore, obviously, this truth has been hidden from the knowledge of man. Only through observation and research man discovered this principle, phenomenon or truth
When once this truth was discovered, men tried to use this knowledge in some practical ways. As a result of this pursuit, the locomotives and steamship, and consequently, the Rail Road industry and the shipping companies came into being. We now know the value of steam power, when it is used in a practical way. As we know, the discovery of these truths revolutionized the life of man, and the economy of the whole world. Covering a great distance or moving people or goods from one continent to another continent is no longer a problem.
We can also trace the very beginnings of the discoveries of many physical truths, which resulted in enhancing the quality of life of man and the other developments. Some of these examples are atomic power, electricity, magnetism, hydraulics, electronics, nuclear power, oil power etc. At this point it will suffice to know what a ‘Truth’ is, and how the application of it, will simply enhance and revolutionize our lives.
With this brief introduction, we can talk about the Revelation Knowledge in the spiritual realm, which we can get from the Bible.

II. HOW CAN WE GET ‘REVELATION KNOWLEDGE’?
By being conscious of God’s Presence all the time
By seeking a clear understanding of the Word of God
By depending on the Holy Spirit to give this Revelation Knowledge
By being Hungry and Thirsty for the Word of God
By having a desire to grow spiritually and to become more and more like Jesus
By making sure that we do not violate any Laws of God
By meditating the Word of God
By giving pre-eminence to the Word of God
By Walking and Talking with God daily
By being Anointed richly by the Holy Spirit
By being sensitive to the voice of God
By serving God particularly as a teacher or a preacher to help people understand the Word of God
By taking interest in serving as a Counselor to the troubled and the believed people to comfort and to minister to them
By being good stewards of God by disseminating the Revelation Knowledge to the world for the benefit and advantage
By flowing with the Holy Spirit
By diligently studying gifts of discernment and prophecy
By the word of God dwelling in us richly

III. WHY SHOULD WE GET ‘REVELATION KNOWLEDGE’
We should get the Revelation Knowledge for the following reasons:
To understand the true and the intended meaning of the written Word of God
To understand the reason why a statement has been made in the Bible
To know the secrets and mysteries of God and His kingdom which is a mystery to the world
To understand God’s Promises to His Children
To know about the Rewards God has for obeying His Laws
To know the future God holds for His children
To really understand that what we read in the Old Testament is like a shadow and a type of what was going to take place in the New Testament
To know the true meaning of scriptures which are hidden to the world but is made available to the children of God who seek to know God’s Plans, Purposes and Will
To get the full benefit and the knowledge of the Word of God, the Logos in which the rich spiritual meaning, truth and blessings are hidden
If we do not get the Revelation Knowledge of the Logos, the written word we will neither understand the reason why it is written and the context in which it is written. If the reader of the word of God will miss the truth, even though he might be repeatedly reading the word of God sincerely and even meditate them to understand the depths of the real meaning and the purpose of which it is written.

IV. WHAT SHOULD WE DO WITH THE ‘THE REVELATION KNOWLEDGE’?
To Apply it in our own life
To Follow it when we face a situation or a problem in our lives where the Revelation Knowledge will be the answer or the solution
To Understand and Interpret the Written Word
To Gain Godly Wisdom which has the real value as supposed to the Wisdom of the Man
To Grow spiritually and become like Jesus
To Fulfill God’s Plan and Purposes
To Understand God’s Promises and Provisions by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
To Know the conditions that we have to meet to appropriate the blessings of God
To Know the signs of the End-times and to be prepared for it
To Know the truth so that we can set free
To Know the Secrets and the Mysteries of the God’s Kingdom to take full advantage of God’s Provisions, and to appropriate and enjoy them
To Understand God and His Love and Mercies which follow us all the days of our life

V. SOME EXAMPLES OF REVELATION KNOWLEDGE

1. LOVE

1. WHAT ?

Love is a Characteristic or a Nature of God
God is Love (I John 4:8)
It is a Spiritual Quality (not a Physical or an Intellectual Quality)
Love is not selfish
Love is kind and Gentle and Patient and is not rude
Love does not get angry
Love does not see the faults of others
Love neither boasts nor is proud
Love does good and makes sacrifices
Love has compassion for the needy, sick, suffering and lost
Love forgives
Love is an act and not just a feeling, attitude or disposition
The opposite of Love is Hatred and Enmity Examine yourself and see whether you are a loving person!

2. WHY ?
Because it is a commandment of God
Because it is our Duty to our neighbors
Because it gives us Joy, Good Health and a Great Feeling
Because with love we can overcome all evil
Because we can win anyone with love
Because it will help get answers to our Prayers
Because it is the wisest and the greatest thing that anyone can do
Because it is the most profitable thing that anyone can do

3. HOW ?
By Giving
By Sacrificing
By Pleasing
By Forgiving
By Praising and Appreciating
By Speaking Pleasant Words
By Submitting to others

2. FAITH

1. WHAT IS FAITH?

Faith is God's nature
Faith is a spiritual quality
Faith is believing the word of God
Faith is believing without seeing any evidence
Faith is a decision that we make to believe in the word of God
Faith is obeying the word of God
Faith is meeting the conditions to appropriate the promises of God
Faith is creative force
Faith is confessing the word of God that we believe in
Faith is speaking with authority and confidence the word of God
Faith is an act performed to meet the conditions of God's Promise
Faith is agreeing with the word of God

2. WHY DO WE NEED FAITH?
Because through faith we can appropriate God's promises
Because through faith we can make all things possible
Because through faith we can create things that do not exist
Because through faith we can change our circumstances
Because through faith we can make the impossible possible
Because through faith we can have victory and success in everything
Because through faith we can make our hopes, visions and dreams come true
Because through faith we can please God
Because through faith we can do great works

3. HOW CAN WE HAVE FAITH?
By hearing the word of God
By studying the word of God
By receiving the revelation knowledge of God
By meditating the word of God
By obeying or doing the word of God
By believing the word of God in our heart
By confessing the word of God by our mouth
By pursuing our dreams, visions, desires and thoughts
By expecting to have what we believe in
By not worrying, doubting and fearing
By having peace, joy and excitement about receiving what we believe for
By knowing, believing and expecting that we will have what we desire, imagine, dream, see in vision, ask, need etc.
By fulfilling the commandment of love
By living a holy and righteous life
By serving God faithfully according to His calling
By having a close relationship and fellowship with God
By pleasing loving and pleasing God!

3. PEACE

1. WHAT IS PEACE?
Peace is a spiritual blessing that God alone can give
Jesus is the prince of peace
Peace is a spirit
Peace is a blessing of God
We can and should have peace within ourselves, with God and with all men
Peace and Joy go together
Peace is having a good relationship
The opposite of peace is war, worry, fear and confusion
Peace is something that nobody can give nor take it away
Peace is something that we should retain and not lose at any cost
Having peace all the time is a decision that we have to make and follow the rules in the Bible to retain it
Peace is something that is lost or shattered when we get angry, begin to argue, fight, worry, fear or commit a sin

2. WHY SHOULD WE HAVE PEACE?
To have joy we should have peace, because when we lose peace we lose joy and the opposite is also true
To be free from worry, fear or confusion
To have good relationship with God, with all men and within ourselves
To rest well and to have sweet sleep
To have good health and to be free from head ache, high blood pressure and ulcer
To enjoy and appreciate life fully
To be calm and relaxed
To be free from a feeling of guilt of sin

3. HOW CAN WE HAVE A PEACE?
By confessing our sins to God and asking for His forgiveness
By forgiving and reconciling with everyone with whom we have some misunderstanding, ill feeling or strained relationship
By making a decision to have peace all the time at any cost
By not getting angry, worry or fear anytime
By not losing our self control any time for anything
By loving and forgiving everyone that offend us
By not having any un-forgiveness, hatred or anger against anyone
By speaking pleasant words all the time
By exercising self control and being calm and composed all the time
By not getting angry or upset about anything or with anyone

4. BEWARE OF SIN

1. WHAT IS SIN?
All Transgressions (Violations) of God's Laws in the Bible are Sins
All unrighteousness is Sin (Anything that is not right is Sin)
When a person knows to do good and not do it, it is Sin
Some examples of Sins specifically mentioned in the Bible are:
Lying, steeling, un-forgiveness, murder, hatred, pride, covetousness, worldliness, discontentment, lust, adultery, fornication etc.
Multitude of words is sin
Evil thoughts are Sins

2. SOME TRUTHS ABOUT SIN THAT EVERY ONE SHOULD KNOW
Sin is alluring, enticing and tempting
Sin is habit forming or repetitive in nature
Sin is committed under the influence of an evil spirit which specializes in a particular kind of sin (eg: spirit of lying, spirit of steeling, spirit of un-forgiveness, spirit of murder, spirit of hatred, spirit of pride, spirit of covetousness, spirit of worldliness, spirit of discontentment, spirit of murder etc.
Sin is unprofitable
Sin will be exposed or find the sinner out
Sin is a shameful act
Sin will be judged and punished by God
Sin will give a feeling of Guilt
Sin will give only a momentary pleasure
Sin has a penalty or wages of death, ultimately
Sin puts the sinner in a bondage or the sinner is bound by a chain or chord of sin
Sin has a tendency to grow or mushroom and assume gigantic proportions
Sin is just an error, mistake, a slip but a deliberate, well thought out, planned wrongful and immoral act committed knowingly, willfully and deliberately
Sin is an inexcusable act with no defense or justification

3. WHY DO PEOPLE SIN?
Under the influence and deception of the devil
Under sudden and grave provocation or in a state of anger
Under temptation
Because they are hooked or in a bondage
For the momentary pleasure
Because they are foolish
Because they are not determined not to commit any act of Sin
Because they not fully conscious of the penalty and the consequences of sin which is so severe and terrible
Because they fail to examine themselves daily to check and see if their deeds and acts measure up the Biblical Standards

4. HOW CAN WE STOP SINNING AND ESCAPE FROM THE
PENALTY OF SIN?
By knowing the above truths about the sin
By truly repenting for it and asking for God's forgiveness
By jotting down the kinds of sins that we normally commit or have a tendency to commit
By making a decision not to indulge in any sinful act
By examining ourselves every day to find out if we have committed any sin on that day, repenting and confessing, and seeking the help of God not repeat those sins again the next day

5. ANOINTING

In the last days I will pour my Spirit upon all flesh (Joel: 2:28)

1.WHAT IS ANOINTING?
Being filled with the Holy Spirit
Being baptized with the Holy Spirit
Being possessed by the Holy Spirit
Being used by the Holy Spirit
Being empowered by the Holy Spirit
Being filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19)
Being filled with God's Love, God's Wisdom, God's Power, God's Riches and God's Creativity
Being equipped to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ (to heal the sick, to cast the demons, to do miracles, to preach the gospel, to teach the word and to do good works)

2.WHY SHOULD WE RECEIVE ANOINTING?
To over come the power of the enemy
To impart the anointing of the Holy Spirit to others
To Stir up the gifts of the Holy Spirit in others
To continue to do the works of Jesus Christ
To preach the gospel
To teach the word of God
To cast the demons
To break the yoke of the enemy
To receive revelation knowledge of the word of God (it is the anointing that teaches us all things)
To receive the wisdom of God
To have and to exercise the love of God
To have the power of God
To have the riches of God
To think creatively and to build the kingdom of God
To demonstrate the power of God
To have a great harvest of souls

3. HOW CAN WE RECEIVE AND RELEASE ANOINTING?
By hungering and thirsting for it
By living a holy and a righteous life
By using the anointing that we have to the fullest extent for God's glory
By asking for more of God's anointing
By submitting, surrendering and yielding ourselves totally to be used by the Holy Spirit
By inviting the Holy Spirit to come and dwell in us
By acknowledging and giving all the glory to God when He works in and through us
By entering into a partnership with the Holy Spirit to serve God Unconditionally
By being willing to pay any price to receive this anointing
By being a disciple under someone who is richly anointed by the Holy Spirit

6. WISDOM

Wisdom is the principle thing (Proverbs 4:7)

1.WHAT IS WISDOM?

There are two kinds of Wisdom:
Godly Wisdom
Worldly Wisdom (This meditation is on Godly Wisdom)
Wisdom is understanding, knowledge and judgment
Wisdom is God's council and instructions
Wisdom is the ability to interpret things
Wisdom is the ability to make right decisions
Wisdom is the knowledge of the secrets and the mysteries of God
Wisdom is the ability to diagnose problems
Wisdom is the ability to answer all questions
Wisdom is God's spirit

2. WHY SHOULD WE HAVE WISDOM ?
Because Wisdom is the principle thing (Proverbs 4:7)
Because Wisdom is better than all that one can desire (Proverbs 3:15)
Because Wisdom will make us happy (Proverbs 3:13)
Because Wisdom will give us understanding (Proverbs 3:13)
Because Wisdom is better than silver, god and more precious rubies
(Proverbs 3:14-15)
Because Wisdom gives us a long life (Proverbs 3:16)
Because Wisdom gives us riches and honor (Proverbs 3:16)
Because if we have wisdom all our ways shall be pleasant and in all our paths
we will have peace (Proverbs 3:17)
Because Wisdom will give us safety (Proverbs 3:23)
Because when we lie down we shall not be afraid and our sleep shall be sweet (Proverbs 3:24)
Because Wisdom will exhaust and promote us (Proverbs 4:8)
Because Wisdom will help build our house (Proverbs 24:3)
Because Wisdom will fill our chambers with precious and pleasant riches (Proverbs 24:4)
Because Wisdom will make us strong (Proverbs 24:5)
Because if we have wisdom we will neither get angry nor be foolish (Proverbs 27:3)
Because if we have wisdom we will build our house upon the rock of the word of God, and it will not collapse under any circumstances
Because if we are wise we can win souls
Because if we have wisdom all the rest of the people in this word will serve us (Proverbs 11:29)

3. HOW CAN WE GET WISDOM ?
By hearing and studying the word of God
By receiving the wisdom from above (James 3:17)
By receiving the revelation knowledge from the word of God
By walking with wise men (Proverbs 13:30)
By loving our soul (Proverbs 19:8)
By getting counsel from the men of God
By receiving the anointing of the Holy Spirit

7. PRAYER

Prayer without Ceasing (Acts 12:5)

1. WHAT IS PRAYER?
Prayer is fellowshipping with God
Prayer is slipping into the presence of God
Prayer is praising and worshipping God for what He is
Prayer is expressing our love to God
Prayer is thanking God for his goodness and mercies
Prayer is making petitions or requests to God
Prayer is a two way communication between God and us
Prayer is having a spiritual experience with God
Prayer is hearing a spiritual experience with God
Prayer is acknowledging Him in all our ways

2. WHY SHOULD WE PRAY?
To receive an answer from God for our problems and needs
To establish a close relationship with God
To have our needs met
To change the circumstances in our life
To overcome the power of the enemy
To move the hands of God
To have victory in life
To be charged with the power of the Holy Spirit
To be strengthened spiritually to face al situations in life
To hear the voice of God and to see visions
To confess our sins and ask for forgiveness
To thank and praise God for all that he has done
To express our love for the Lord
To enter into a covenant or to make a vow or a commitment to God
To receive special favors from God
To glorify God
To stand in the gap and to intercede for the needs of others

3. HOW SHOULD WE PRAY?
By expressing our love and adoration for Him
By forgetting about everything and concentrating on Him
By having our spiritual ears and eyes tuned to see the vision of God, and to hear the voice of God
By establishing a close relationship with God
By living a holy and a righteous life
By using the name of Jesus
By praying according to God’s will and that is to pray in line with the word of God
By meeting the conditions attached to the promises of God
By adoring, praising, worshipping and glorifying God
By believing that God will hear and answer our prayers
By giving an offering to God

8. THE KINGDOM OF GOD

1. WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

It is the Kingdom in which He dwells and Reigns
It is a Spiritual Kingdom
It is a Kingdom where the angels dwell
It is a Supernatural Kingdom
It is a Kingdom of Peace and Joy
It is a Kingdom of Justice and Righteousness
It fills the whole universe
It is the Largest Kingdom
It is the Fastest Growing Kingdom
It is the Richest Kingdom
It is the Most Powerful Kingdom
It is an Invisible Kingdom
It is an incorruptible Kingdom
It is Heaven on Earth
It gives us a Foretaste of Heaven
It gives us a glimpse of God's Glory
It is experiencing Heaven on Earth
It is a Miracle Kingdom

2. WHY SHOULD WE SEEK AND ENTER INTO
THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

Because we can have Supernatural Health
Because we can have Supernatural Protection and Safety
Because we can have Supernatural Power
Because we can have Supernatural Prosperity
Because we can have Peace and Joy
Because there is Righteousness and Joy
Because God's Laws operate and Govern it
Because Miracles take place all the time
Because Angels dwell in it
Because the Word of God is the Law in God's Kingdom
Because we can become a Citizen of Heaven
Because we can have Supernatural Experiences
Because God Rules and Reigns along with His saints
Because it overlays and covers the Whole Earth

3. HOW CAN WE ENTER AND LIVE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

By being Born into it
By receiving Jesus we are given power to become the Sons of God
By believing and confessing that Jesus is the Savior and the Lord
By living a Holy and Righteous Life
By obeying God's Laws
By Upholding the "Bible" as the Constitution
By Loving and Forgiving Every One
By Doing Good and Returning Good for Evil
By Living by Faith in the Word of God and in Him
By having the Desires of our hearts fulfilled
By creating something out of nothing
By speaking things into Existence
By making the Impossible Possible
By having and enjoying Divine Health and Divine Prosperity
By Appropriating God's Promises
By having Fellowship and Friendship with God
By Walking and Talking with God
By Worshiping and Praising God
By entering into a Partnership with God
By rehearsing to rule and reign in the Millennium

9. GIVING

1. IT IS A THE GREATEST THING THAT ANYONE CAN DO ON THIS EARTH
