"Money Answereth All Things" (Ecclesiastes 10:19)
Dr. John Williams
We should understand the true value of money. It represents the time that we
spend to work, to earn that money.
The time that we spend is a chunk of our life! Therefore, the money that we
have, represents our life. How we
use the money is, therefore, very important, and so also how we use our time.
We all should have a financial plan to fulfill God's calling, and at the same
time to have abundance of everything for
ourselves and also to give liberally. Another important principle relating to
money is to give one tenth of all of our earnings
and blessings we receive, to God because it belongs to him. How we manage our
money will reflect as to how we manage
our life. The priorities in our life will also be reflected by how we spend the
money.
However, our trust should not be in money; our temptation should not be for
money and we should not be greedy and
avaricious to earn or save more money and make that our goal in our life!
