“…….The desire of the righteous shall be fulfilled” (Proverbs 10:24)

Every truth stated in the Bible is powerful and if we meet the conditions we can appropriate the blessings promised in it. This particular scripture expounds on the potential of a righteous man to appropriate and have all of his desires fulfilled. So the condition that has to be met by us is to live a righteous life which means we should not indulge in any sinful activity mentioned in the Bible to be so.

A practical way to take full advantage of this great promise of God is to prepare a checklist of every activity that is mentioned in the Bible as a sin or something unrighteous. After compiling this list we should examine ourselves and see if we violate any rules of the principles of righteous in our life. If we do, we should immediately focus on those specific acts of unrighteousness, confess to God and ask for forgiveness, and also make a decision and a commitment to God not to indulge in those unrighteous acts of sins any more in our life.

When once we take care of this, we can count one hundred percent that every desire of us will be granted by God in heaven. Since we are talking about the desire of the righteous, it has to be and it will be good only for us, for others and in the kingdom of God. This promise of God is simply mind boggling, but it is at the same time simple enough to understand and to appropriate the blessing promised to us.

Finally, we should note that having understood this tremendous truth, in order to get the full benefit, we should make a list of all of our desires, and keep updating it daily, and take them to the throne of God for his favor of granting everyone of those desires which he has promised to fulfill.
