WORSHIP IN THE LORD IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH 

"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him most worship him in spirit and in truth""

I. WHAT IS WORSHIPING THE LORD?

1. Worshiping is Praising and Glorifying the Lord
2. Worshiping is Exalting and Magnifying the Lord
3. Worshiping is Adoring the Lord
4. Worshiping is Recognizing the Presence of God
5. Worshiping is Reaching out to God through our Spirit
6. Worshiping is Opening up Ourselves or Submitting with God
7. Worshiping is Preparing Ourselves to have an Encounter with God
8. Worshiping is something Spiritual and not Emotional
9. Worshiping is something that is done not in the Physical Realm but in the Spiritual Realm
10. Worshiping is possible without Music, Singing, Clapping, Jumping, Dancing, Shouting, using   
       Musical Instruments, Dressing in Special Attire, having a Theatrical set up, using a 
       Professional Sound System, etc., even though it is perfectly alright to use anything that has 
       been mentioned in this paragraph, as long as the sanctity, holiness and reverence is not lost, 
       and the believers are not Diverted, Distracted, just Entertained or Disturbed

II. WHY SHOULD WE WORSHIP THE LORD?

1. We should worship to enter into His Presence
2. We should worship to Recognize His Presence
3. We should worship to Invoke the Presence of God
4. We should worship to Acknowledge that Jesus is the King and the Lord
5. We should worship to Adore and Magnify God
6. We should worship to Unify the Body of Christ in oneness
7. We should worship to Give Jesus the Glory and Honor which He deserves
8. We should worship to Exalt Him above all other Names and Beings
9. We should worship to get in tune with the Holy Spirit
10. We should worship to Cleanse and Purify ourselves
11. We should worship to reach the point Spiritually, at which, we can Fellowship and have 
      Communion with God

III. HOW SHOULD WE WORSHIP THE LORD?
1. We should worship in the Spirit
2. We should worship Truly and Sincerely
3. We should worship with Fear and Reverence
4. We should worship, Recognizing the Awesome Presence of God
5. We should worship to Please and Honor God
6. We should worship God in the Beauty of Holiness
7. We should worship God in the Biblically Acceptable Postures like Bowing, Kneeling, Standing, 
    Raising our Hands, Singing, Dancing, Shouting Halleluiah, etc.
8. We should worship God with Thanksgiving and Praises
9. We should worship Him by Giving Offerings
10. We should worship God without Trying to Demonstrate our Skills and Talents
11. We should worship God without Performing to Please or Excite the Audience
12. We should worship God without trying to get the Popularity and Applause of the Audience
13. We should worship God without trying to put on a Great Show
14. We should worship God without trying to distract the attention of the people from God (by 
      distractions and uncouth actions/singing/dancing etc.)
