| I. WHAT IS HEAVEN? |
| 1. Heaven is the Whole Universe combined with the Earth (Genesis 1:1) |
| 2. Heaven is according to the Hebrew word "Shamayim" (Genesis 1:1& 2:1) |
| 3. Heaven is at great Heights or Elevations (Genesis 2:1) |
| 4. Heaven is according to the Hebrew word "Marom" a "High Place" (Psalm 68:18) |
| 5. Heaven is according to the Hebrew word "Galgal" a Wheel or a World Wind (Psalm 77:18) |
| 6. Heaven is according to the Hebrew word "Shahak" "Sky" (De 33:22) or "Clouds" (Job 35:5) |
| 7. Heaven is according to another Hebrew word "Rikia" "Firmament" which means a Solid Expanse (Genesis 1:6) |
| 8. Heaven is also referred to Metaphorically as a "Door of Heaven" (Psalm 78:23) |
| 9. Heaven is called by Jesus as "Father's House" (John 14:2) |
| 10. Heaven is called the "Paradise" (Luke 23:43) |
| 11. Heaven is called "The Heavenly Jerusalem" (Galatians 4:1) |
| 12. Heaven is called "The Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 25:1) |
| 13. Heaven is called "The Eternal Kingdom" (II Peter 1:11) |
| 14. Heaven is called "Eternal Inheritance" (I Peter 1:4) |
| 15. Heaven is called "The Better Country" (Hebrew 11:14,16) |
| 16. Heaven is a Place prepared for the Believers (John 14:2) |
| II. HOW CAN WE GO TO HEAVEN? |
| 1. By Being Absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord (II Cor.5:8) |
| 2. By Living a Holy and Righteous life now on earth |
| 3. By Believing and Accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as the Savior |
| 4. By Truly Repenting for our Sins and be cleansed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ |
| 5. By Obeying the Commandments of God |
| 6. By Fulfilling God's Will for us on this earth |
| 7. By Being Delivered from the bondage to the sins |
| 8. By Having a Close Relationship and Fellowship with the Holy Spirit |
| 9. By Doing Good Works |
| 10. By Putting on the Righteousness of God which has been made available to us through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ |
| III. WHY SHOULD WE GO TO HEAVEN? |
| 1. In order to Reign and Rule with Christ (II Timothy 2:12) |
| 2. In order to Have Everlasting Life (II Corinthians 4:17) |
| 3. In order to be Free from Sufferings and to be Delivered from all Evils (II Corinthians 5:1-2) |
| 4. In order
to have Bliss without Termination
and the fullness of Joy for ever (Luke 20:36); (II Corinthians 4:16,18); (I Peter 1:4, 5:10); (I John 3:2) |
| 5. In order to be in the Presence of God for ever |
| 6. In order to Live in a Glorified body which is not only free from Sickness, Pain and Suffering |
| 7. In order to be Engulfed by the presence of God and Experience the Glory of God |
| 8. In order to See, Enjoy and Experience the Beauty and Tranquility of Heaven |
| 9. In order to See and Enjoy the Magnificence, the Beauty and the Majesty of the Lord Jesus |
| 10. In order to Hear the Choirs of Angels play musical instruments, like trumpets and harps, and to hear the Angelic choir sing |
| 11. In order to Reign and Rule this World with Christ for one thousand years |
