- The Human Body which has
been designed and made by God according to the Bible, is endowed with five
physical senses
- The Human body has the
senses of touch, smell, hearing, sight and taste
- The Body is perishable,
mortal and is subject to pain, suffering and sickness
- The Body is essential for
existence on this planet, and it is endowed with a Soul and a Spirit.
- The Soul consists of a
Mind, an Emotion and a Will
- Emotion is intricately
intertwined with the Spirit, and both of them operate in and through the human
body
- Emotion includes happiness,
sadness, worry, dullness, being moody, excitement etc.
- Mind has the ability to
think, rationalize, memorize, interpret, imagine, understand etc.
- Mind has varying degrees of
intelligence and capability to develop further
- The human Will has the
ability to decide and determine, whether to do or not to do
- Will is closely related to
ones Ego, Bias, Preconceptions, Determinations, Decisions, Values, Philosophy
etc.
- The Spirit and Soul cannot
be separated even when a person dies, but they have their own identity and
purpose
- The Spirit is the Quality,
attribute, characteristics, nature and ingredient of God, which has been
imparted into human beings
- Spiritual attributes of man
include love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness and temperance (these qualities are referred to as the Fruit of the
Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23)
- The other spiritual
qualities are forgiveness, giving, creativity, wisdom, spiritual power, power
to get wealth etc.

- Body, Soul and Spirit
constitute the human being together, and at the same time we can identify each
one of these components and their individual role and significance
- The Spirit controls the
body and the Soul
- When the Spirit grows and
matures, it keeps the Body and Soul under subjection
- The Spirit can transcend
the human Body and Soul
- The Spirit can give
commands to the Body as well as the emotion to function the way it should, in
different situations
- The Spirit, Soul and Body
are interdependent, while they are intertwined or interconnected
- The Human Will plays a key
role in decision making
- The Spiritual strength and
knowledge influence the decision making process, and the decisions made,
control the human behavior
- The Human Will controls and
regulates the human Emotions
- The Spiritual growth and
maturity, as well as the Human Will causes spiritual growth, and protects the
human integrity, ethics and morality
