12. GOODNESS

Return good for evil (Matthew 5:44)

1. WHAT IS GOOD AND EVIL ?
  • Being good Morally
  • Being good Spiritually
  • Being good Financially
  • Being good in Quality
  • Doing an Excellent, Marvelous and Superb job
  • Giving something of Value to others
  • Doing some Service to others
  • Helping those in need
  • Making Sacrifices for others
  • Preaching the Gospel (Good news to others)
  • Ministering to the Needs of others
  • Doing not only the opposite of what is listed above but also not doing which
    are listed as Evil
2. WHY SHOULD WE DO GOOD FOR EVIL ?
  • Because the Bible commands us to return good for the evil
  • Because the Bible says when a person knows to do good and does not do it, it is Sin
  • Because the Bible says what we do unto other they will  do unto us
  • Because what we Sow is what Reap
  • Because we are Indebted and Obligated to do good as a bond
    slave to Jesus Christ who suffered and died for us
  • Because when we do good it gives us a sense of Joy, Excitement, Peace
    and Fulfillment
  • Because we are going to be Rewarded in heaven for our Good Works
  • Because there are many less fortunate, needy and poor people in this world who need help
  • Because for any Good Work we will be Appreciated and Rewarded even now on this earth
  • Because when we return good for evil according to the Bible it will be like heaping coals of fire upon their heads
3. HOW SHOULD WE DO GOOD?
  • By making a Decision to do good to somebody every day
  • By adopting "Doing Good" as our life style
  • By making "Doing Good our primary goal in life"
  • By Looking for Opportunities and Situations in which we can do good
  • By being Sensitive to the needs of the people around us
  • By having Love and Compassion for every one with a problem
  • By having a Burden for the lost souls which are slipping into eternity daily
  • By Responding Positively to our Conscious that we have been endowed with
  • By making Realistic, practical and Innovate Methods, to do good to those who need some help
